Players of Hell difficulty Realm games are hereby warned that a new, challenging world-event has been added to Diablo II version 1.10. Includes Ultimate Diablo Item Editor 2 (UdieToo) and Hero Editor. This patch will update Diablo 2: Lord Of Destruction to version 1.10, and apply the following changes: Mysterious World-event. You don't have to change anything, just leave this window open (minimized is fine) while you play. Once you fill that in and continue, the install should be pretty quick. A popup will appear asking for your Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction CD Key. To avoid/fix this, simply right-click on the desktop and open Screen Resolution. Close out the Diablo 2 installer after it has finished and open up the Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction installer. Known issue: on Windows 7 and up (maybe even some earlier versions), the game's colors are all garbled. It is configured to run 1280x800 resolution. To keep save files in the same folder, run as administrator. Runs on all Windows (including 7 and up). If you want a particular patch, just extract that into the game folder and you'll be set. Run the Blizzard desktop app in Administrator Mode to address many installation, patching, networking, and start-up errors. Make sure to use the Archive Utility, not a third party tool, to extract the installer. Later patches are included, but the MultiRes plugin only works on 1.12. Note: As a 32-bit application, Diablo II (2000) will not run on MacOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later.
